Riley’s brand new film DUAL is heading to V.O.D. this weekend, which is the perfect opportunity to have him on! He and Jeremy talked about their joint vaccination effort, growing up outside of Austin and moving to Los Angeles, playing in the grindcore band 25 Dollar Massacre, Steven Spielberg’s “Duel”, seeing Lost In Translation and early 2000’s Indie films, the first time he wrote a script, his first experiences working in the entertainment industry, directing his first short and working with Stephen Tobolowsky, The Cub playing at Sundance, the genesis of his first feature Faults, experiences with test screenings, The Art of Self Defense, the band Asterisk, finding the comedy in editing, shooting Dual in Finland, subverting audience expectations, working with Karen Gillian, and so much more!
